If you agree, WITS (Wraight IT Services) may share your data with our partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services. The partner companies include Microsoft, Google, Monzo, Square, Elite, ESET, 3CX and Zyxel.
When WITS (Wraight IT Services) processes your orders, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.
How Do We Store Your Data?
WITS (Wraight IT Services) stores your data in a very secure manner. We directly store some of your data at the business premises: Flat 10, 77 High Street, Clacton-On-Sea, Essex, United Kingdom, CO15 1UQ. All digital storage devices that may hold your data at the forementioned address are encrypted using Microsoft BitLocker. If your data is taken outside of the premises using removable storage devices, these will also be encrypted using Microsoft BitLocker.
Your data may also be stored externally by partner companies such as Contabo and 1Password. At WITS (Wraight IT Services), we do not take any shortcuts when it comes to the security of your data. We realise due to the nature of our business and services we may hold very private and confidential data. Any external online accounts we have (where possible) that may hold your data are protected using MFA (multi-factor authentication). This adds another layer of security to protect your data.
If you are a customer of WITS (Wraight IT Services), we may hold your data for as long as you use our services. If you decide to terminate your services with us, we may hold all your data for as long as 3 years. This may help us in the process of moving you to a different IT provider and may also help us in the process of ceasing your services with our providers. It is important to note that we may keep data longer than this but only with express permission of yourself which will usually be requested via email. Furthermore, it is your right at any time to request that we erase your data. If you wish for us to erase your data at any point, please get in contact. In order to prevent spam enquiries, we protect our forms with a ‘CAPTCHA’ challenge to ensure the submission is from a living person, rather than a computer bot. This CAPTCHA challenge creates a cookie that is used only to check the input response from the user is correct. The CAPTCHA cookie does not store any other information from your enquiry.
